Soul Archeology

Clearing trauma from the nervous system with the aid of cannabis via in-person sessions (2 hours each). All sessions take place in the comfort of your own home (San Diego and the Bay area only). The recommended protocol is to complete 3 sessions on 3 consecutive days and then take 4-6 weeks to integrate before doing another cycle of 3 sessions. Most people find a benefit after just one cycle of 3 sessions, although to get the most benefit an average of 12 sessions is typical. Microdosing psilocybin and/or cannabis during the integration period is highly recommended and those who do this usually get deeper results.

Approach

Soul Archeology is a way of working with plant medicines in concert with hidden parts of your soul and psyche. It involves faith and trust in the wisdom of your body and spirit to come into harmony and healing naturally when given the permission and space to do so.

It integrates psychedelic use with Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy techniques (PSIP model), loving awareness, supportive therapeutic touch, attunement, reparenting/renegotiation of relationships with your parts, and curating a spaciousness to increase your capacity to hold everything that is within you free from the constraints, pain, and limitations of shame.

The work involves finding and utilizing your lowest effective dose of the medicines, most commonly cannabis and psilocybin, and moving at the speed of your slowest part. It allows things to unfold at a natural pace and honors all of the protective parts along the way instead of trying to “push through” them with force. It brings loving awareness to all of the parts that have been hiding within so they no longer feel compelled to cause us distress in order to get our full attention.

What results from this eclectic approach to healing is an increased capacity to work with one's feelings, a renegotiated relationship to one's body and innate intelligences, an increased sense of agency and insight, and most importantly, an ability to trust oneself and one's experience. The technique is experiential and based in the present moment felt sense input. There may be times when this process will challenge your perceptions, paradigms, and assumptions and different perspectives may be uncovered. The new wisdom that will arise may result in unexpected and unforeseen outcomes, including changes in personal relationships, relationship with self, relationship with collective consciousness, and relationship with spirit.

It has been found that those receiving this type of treatment, increasingly over time, begin to feel less stuck in old habits of being. They begin to experience states that feel relaxed and alert and are better able to respond to the present moment. Anxiety and depression may recede and are often replaced with a feeling of being more authentic, self-accepting and loving. Relationships can improve dramatically. The world around them can become less threatening as it becomes easier for them to give and receive support.

Other more specific benefits may include:

• decreases in compulsive behaviors

• decreases in traumatic feelings such as constant vigilance, rage, panic and hopelessness

• a new ability to feel appropriate, milder feelings such as anger, sadness and anxiety

• an increase in the ability to feel non-threatening feelings such pleasure and relaxation

• an increased sense of goodness in self, others, and the world

• an increased ability to respond to and feel the present moment

• an increased sense of agency or power

• a re-membered sense of your own divinity

• a renewed sense of connectivity to a collective consciousness/oneness

• an ability to perceive previously unseen connections

The videos below are examples of how the sessions can look, however, they are not always that "dramatic".
